Today was our first day in the Ware Neck facility.  On short notice we ended up with a crew of 10 people (Pastor Rick, Sherry, Melissa Swisher, Trish and Ashley Gunderson, and Tiffany Cochran brought up four of her children: Jen, Ethan, Payton, Peter). We ended up filling a 20 cubic foot dumpster in about 5 hours.

Ecclesiastes 3 says: There is a a time to tear down and a time to build…a time to keep and a time to throw away.

Well tomorrow will be a time to tear down some stuff. There will be a crew that will continue to clean out the rooms while some of us start tearing down some walls.  There’s few things that are as much fun as putting a sledge hammer through a wall (and not getting in trouble for it). Don’t ask me why, but it’s just something guys are born with: the desire to break, hit, smash, or destroy something. Don’t get me wrong, I like to build stuff too, but demo is a blast.

If you’ve got some free time to come up and join us, let Susan Mollera know by sending her an email: sbsue@verizon.net. She can tell you when we we’ll be up at the building and put you on the schedule. Of course you’re always free to just “show up” but I can’t guarantee that someone will be there whenever you happen to pop in unannounced.

God is amazing, you are essential, let’s get to work.
