ESSENTIAL SMALL GROUPS – SUMMER 2010!
Jesus established the Church to help us live out the most essential thing: Love God & Love Others
At Essential Church we live this out in four different relationships. We worship together helping us to love God. We gather in small groups, doing life together in authentic community. We love others as we share life, and care for them inside and outside of the church. We love ourselves enough to live a holy life, putting into practice what we find in God’s Word – the Bible.
We are launching new small groups to cool and refresh you all summer long! If you check out the new studies and small group opportunities in our Resource Center (the green room behind the name tag desk) here’s what you will find.
COUPLES SMALL GROUP STUDY
running a three-legged race across time
is a married couples study that explores real-life-stuff for couples on staying married.
Led by Rick & Mariann Eschenburg in the context of their home, this can be a place to wrestle with the hard questions of marriage in a setting that offers comfort over chaos. Join us and enlarge your understanding of faith, marriage, God – and how they all intersect!

WOMEN’S SMALL GROUPS
What do you say, if you are the apostle Paul, to the world knowing that you are going to die? How do you encourage one you led to the Lord to now lead the church knowing your death is imminent? How would you instruct a follower of Jesus to behave if you knew this was your last shot? Join us as we look at what weighed heavy on Paul’s heart and the last things he had to say to those he was closest to at the end of the road.

Me, Myself & Lies
Me, Myself, & Lies – is a women’s Bible study concerning the words women speak to themselves. All too often, what they say to themselves when they lie in bed at night or look in the mirror in the morning is not even close to the words God wants them to speak to their souls. Words are powerful, what we think about often has a ripple effect on nearly every area of our lives.
