On November 1st Essential Church will be given a 15,000 sqft. facility and 7 acres of land valued at around $4,000,000. The facility currently has a worship seating capacity of 275, but could easily be expanded to seat around 500 with some minor renovations. There is a nursery area that includes 6 rooms, 3 children’s bathrooms, and a fenced in playground. There is a full kitchen that comes fully equipped. Other items included with the facility are a baby grand piano, a game room with air hockey, pool, ping-pong, foosball, and few hundred heavily padded chairs (having used metal folding chairs since our beginning this is some people’s favorite part of this whole thing). The address of the facility is 4020 Ware Neck Dr Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
The gift is truly overwhelming and amazing. Essential Church will be 8 months old on October 22, 2009. In that time over 200 people have become a part of the church family, 24 people have been baptized, and we have been given $4,000,000 in assets. Someone asked me if all of this was a part of the vision for Essential Church. I assure you, what has happened over the past 8 months is beyond what my faith could have envisioned. And that is just what God is capable of doing.
Essential Church, God is taking us to a whole nutha’ level. The question that each of us must now answer is, “What are you going to do with it?”

You were faithful with little and God has blessed you with much. I recall the faith you had when you lauched Essential Church and your moto and confidence in God telling me that if it was easy you wouldn’t need God and that God was the one in control as well as the leader of your team. I am in awe… and over- whelmed at the blessing this new facility will be to your ministry. … this is beyond the Prayer of Jabez.

May God bless your church as you move into this facility! I was raised in that church building and saw the ground broken when it was built. God’s hand has worked many miracles through the body that once met there, I pray he blesses the body that will meet there again!
